DESIGN REVIEW BOARD
Article IX of the Hunter’s Green Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions provides an outline of the purpose and responsibilities of the Design Review Board (“DRB”).
This Board is responsible for reviewing and approving all architectural and landscape designs at Hunter’s Green. For the overall benefit of the community, all exterior changes to any property located within the community must be approved by the DRB prior to the work being performed. This includes, but is not limited to, architectural changes; exterior colors; additions such as rooms, screened enclosures, fences and decks; landscaping changes and the installation of outdoor recreational equipment. Requests for approval are submitted, in writing, to the DRB and delivered to the Association office (located in the community park).
Submittals must be received on or before noon the day prior to the next regularly scheduled meeting in order to be placed on the agenda. Please check with the Association office to confirm the meeting schedule which is published in the Community News. Every effort is made to provide a quick response after the meeting; however, due to the volume of responses it may be up to three weeks before you receive a formal written response from the DRB.
Each neighborhood has specific design criteria; therefore, it is important that our residents understand the criteria for his or her neighborhood. Established criteria include items such as fences (containment, privacy, etc.) and mailboxes and posts.
Installation of pool and/or screened enclosure: please submit a site plan which reflects the proposed location; elevations (all sides including roof plan); specifications and a plan review fee of $100.00 (made payable to HGCA, Inc.). Installation of a solid roof and screened enclosure or glass room: submit a similar package and a plan review fee of $150.00 (made payable to HGCA, Inc.).
Room additions: a site plan which reflects the proposed location; construction drawings (which include all elevations including roof); specifications and a plan review fee of $300 (made payable to HGCA, Inc.). All details must reflect that the proposed addition will be constructed to match the existing structure. Owners are encouraged to check with the City of Tampa Building Department for specific information and a preliminary submittal can be presented to the DRB (with no plan review fee required).
Submittal forms are available in the Association office and on the website (www.huntersgreen.com). Thank you!
