Dear Members of Hunter’s Green,
As you may recall, in August of 2017, The Marketable Record Title Act (MARTA) required the preservation of the Hunter’s Green Declaration which would have otherwise expired. Since the preservation, your Boards have worked to re-write and update the Declaration to remove antiquated references such as language referring to the Declarant, and also making it easier to follow by distinguishing between the “Master” Association and any “Neighborhood” Associations.
Starting in 2017, several challenging amendments were voted on separately, leaving this less challenging final draft for consideration. While there were numerous changes, most were clerical in nature. It is a lengthy document, and we want to make sure each member has ample time to read, digest and ask questions about any of the proposed changes. Both a clean version and a redline draft are available for your review, using the links at the bottom.
We will hold two sessions for questions and discussion on the proposed Declaration. If you have questions, please join us for at least one. Speak with your Neighborhood Board and Voting Reps., who are encouraged to attend, they will be casting votes to adopt in August. All are welcome.
